Ever wondered what youd need to make a pound of McConnon - well it seems youd need an ounce or 2 of McConnon, Campbell, McParland, Quinn, McMullen, McKenna, Doran, Byrne, Murphy, McCauley, McShane, Boyle and McClaherty. These rare ingredients were gathered from across Ireland mostly the North from what I can tell. I don't have the exact measurements yet but its seems each one comes with its own distinct mix with some influences being more prominent than others. Over time I will put what family tree I've done so far together and build out as we go. I've an Ancestry.co.uk tree started and will see if I can share it here when I've more done.
I hear that the recipe is continually being enhanced and we can expect flavours of Fuller, Meehan, Donnelly, Higgs, McCullagh, Rooney and possibly Robertson to feature in future batches!
